Street Era is a clothing brand based in Australia created around the JDM racing culture of Japan. The Japanese Domestic Market represents a large part of the cars in imported into Australia with many enthusiasts.
When Brandon (Founder) came to us with the project of designing a logo for this new brand he said he wanted to capture the JDM culture with a sense of modern design. He wanted to have a monogram and wordmark logo that can both live together. The JDM culture is a male dominant demographic ranging from 18-25 years of age.
So we wanted to make the brand feel more aggressive and muted using black and white colour scheme, in the future for the option to add hints of new colours in graphics on clothing.
